Once again Pinelands High School did very well at the CT Expo (The Cape Town Regional Science Fair) held at UCT over the last three days. We entered 21 projects (34 students), and all of them won awards. There were 6 bronzes, 10 silvers and 5 gold medals! The gold medalists are: Nina TerMorshuizen, Cole Awood, Zeeshan Sykes, Nicola Jordaan, Jemma Davids, Farah Pandit, and Zoë de Roo.
Silver medals: Tamika Joseph, Leela Moodley, Dilyn-Ruby Mahaffey, Nicole Williams, Amaan Jabaar, Cassidy Adams, Kate Müller, Mahmood Parker, Hermanus Bosman, Cayden Adriaanse, Alistair (Skyla) Lindeman, Danyaal May, Joshua Tshibasu, Clare Farrell, Micah Jacobs, Yaqeen Kamaledien.
Bronze medals: Amman Ebrahim, Zubair Deyal, Zia Nordien, Humairah Vadee, Hlubilethu Qunta, Raymond Mukanya, Troy Villet, Aisha Sivak, Jenna de Bruyn, Zahrah Allie, Mishka Johaadien.
Four of our projects have been selected to go to ISF (International Science Fair) in JHB in October – Clare Farrell, Zoë de Roo, Nicola Jordaan and Nina TerMorshuizen, where they will represent the CT region.
