Tax Year End

Dear Pinelands High School community

With the end of the tax year approaching, we want to encourage individuals or businesses to consider reducing their tax by making a donation of up to 10% of their annual taxable income. We know that many have experienced a difficult year, but there may be some who are in a position to consider this option.

Pinelands High School, as a public school, is registered under the covering of the WCED as a Public Benefit Organisation with Section 18A status. Any donation you make could go to one of the following: the PHS Bursary Fund (to help support deserving and financially challenged students), the Capital Development Fund (for campus upgrades) or PHS Cares (to help support families in need in our community). If you would like to, you can specify which of these you want to support. For South African companies, a donation to PHS may earn you BEE points.

If you would still like to make a contribution before the end of the tax year (28th February 2021) please make a deposit into the PHS account: Pinelands High School, Standard Bank, Pinelands (036309), current account: 073023671.  Please send your payment confirmation and request for a Section 18A receipt to cfranck@phs.org.za with your/your business full name and residential/physical address, plus the name of the specific
fund to which you wish the donation to be directed.

Thank you for your partnership with us. We can do so much more together than we could ever do apart.
