The Cape Town International Jazz Festival (CTIJF) presents a series of development-focused workshops, which cover a range of activities and functional areas within the entertainment industry. Pinelands High School was selected as one of the seven schools to participate in the  Sustainable Training and Development programme.  The programme ends with a performance at Artscape Opera House. The performance takes place Sunday, 22 March at 3pm. Four  of our students have been selected to form an additional band with the relevant participating schools. They will also be performing on Sunday. This band is called the, All Star Band. The chosen members are Thaakira Jabaar, Matthew Clothier, Chad Groepies and Caitlin Farmer.  Jonas Gensicke has also been selected to participate in the sound engineering side of things.

The All Star Band will also perform on Wednesday 25 March at Greenmarket Square. Starts at 5pm.
