Nabeel participated in the WP Regional Level 2 swimming competition that was held from the 18^th to 22^nd March in East London, Nabeel did exceptionally well.  

He qualified to swim 5 events at the Regional Level 2 swimming competition. He was then entered for 7 overall, adding 2 extra events he could swim. He made finals for 6 of his events, he secured gold (1^st place) for both his 100 and 50 m butterfly event, missing the WP 50m butterfly record for this by splits, record 27.35, he swam a 50m butterfly in 28.45 seconds.

Nabeel also came 4^th in both his 50 and 100m freestyle, missing 3^rd place by splits, his time was 27.65, the winners, 27.35, 27.45.  His 200M IM event, he also swam in a fantastic time, made finals but only ended in the last heat 5^th in his age category, he came down 7 seconds in this event.
