Adam Wins Gold Again

This past weekend Adam Schroeder competed in the third of four Western Province ranking competitions. 

Adam won gold in both the Junior (U20) and Senior Men's Épée categories. Adam is pictured furthest on the right.

During this last weekend Adam completed in the Fencing Junior Nationals in Bloemfontein.   In the very closely contested final, with a final score of 15-14,  Adam won the silver in the Junior Men's Épée (u20) category. 

After the points received at the Junior Nationals, Adam is now ranked number one in the country for Junior Men's Épée. Adam has now qualified to take part in the Junior Common Wealth Games for fencing which will be held in Cape Town from 11 to 19 July 2015.  Well done Adam!

Adam Excels at Fencing Again

This past weekend our talented Adam Schroeder took part in the Western Cape Ranking competition and achieved a GOLD in Junior Men Epee (u20) and SILVER in the Senior Men Epee categories. Well done Adam! 

His next big fencing event happens in the first week of the school holidays - Word Champs in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Tagged in: Epee Fencing Medal

Pinelands High School's Adam Schroeder is back from Bulgaria.  He ended in the top 64 group for Men’s Cadet (U17) Epee with a final world ranking of 59 in the Cadet and Junior World Championships 2014 which was held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria in April.

Last weekend, 3rd May 2014, he competed in the National Eden Open held in George and won gold in Men’s Junior (U20) Epee event.

We are very proud of Adam.
